Do most chain Restaurants use MSG on their salads?

I know that taste you are referring to, is it a chemical taste from your homemade salads? If you are buying bagged, pre washed lettuce it probably has some soap residue on the lettuce or maybe its a pesticide because the manufactures pre wash the lettuce and bag them. Try using lettuce that is not in bags that are not cut and ready to eat and do not buy pre washed lettuce. Get the kind you have to wash and cut yourself because they do not wash it with that chemical. No, restaurants do not use MSG's on their salads.
