Ladies: If you like a guy in a bar setting and he approaches you with a "Hi" or "How are you" is he boring?

I think that would be boring and not spontaneous at all, because "Hi" and "how are you" is every day conversation already. That could be said to anybody, anyone, at anytime. I think a guy should be brave and have confidence. Yes, I would consider him a loser, like what you've described.
