Do umpires have too much power today?

The umpires have way too much influence over a game, and at the moment, it is them who decides the close games. Coaches and players should be allowed to share their views on umpiring decisions, as long as they are constructive. Maybe the umpires and AFL could improve some rules by listening to the views of those who play the game. The umpires are ruining the game, along with the AFL who are introducing way too many unnecessary rules.
