What kind of benefits can a wife of a soldier get?

My husband is considering joining the Army. We have 3 children, and he has always supported us. I have always been a homemaker. Will he be getting weekly checks for being there. Will they be able to support me and the kids or am I going to have to get a part time job while he is serving our country? Would like some feed back from Soldier's Wives that are kind of in the same boat. Or from someone who knows this kind of stuff. thanks.
