Are my parents being unfair?

Well i live in LA but i have been to many places in the world and I can ure you LA is just as dangerous as any other city in the world. It all depends where you live and what kind of places you hang out in, again, just like any other city. I think your parents are just worried about you and they want to protect you, but if you feel like this is what you want and where you want to be you should try speaking to them with another adult that can back you up. Maybe your grandma or aunt. Also, life can be stressful if you're gonna be broke all the time, but more than anything it will be lonely with out your family around.
