Should I continue with this academy or not?

I want to enter a military academy. I send in my nomination for West Point and I was going to apply to the Citadel just in case I do not get in to West Point. I just read a answer to a person question who asked how do they know if they get nominated, and the person who answered said that you have to go in front of a panel for the final decision if your representative requested you. I do not like to talk a lot and it kind of freaked me a little to find out i have to go in front of a group of people. Should I just apply to the Citadel instead of West Point?
